The Yard.

It all started one Saturday morning in April. After a nice friendly nearly pain free walk, I convinced Skyler to plant flowers in our front planter. Steven came upstairs wanting to know what we were doing for the day, I mentioned the flowers and Steven got an idea. Now for those of you that don't know it, Steven has brilliant ideas, ( i really mean it), but they are a lot larger in scale then you may want. What started with just a few flowers has turned into a complete yard remodel. I know it'll look gorgeous when it is done, but its taking SO much work! Our entire back yard is torn up and the front is covered with new planters... I haven't taken pictures recently but here are some from when we started to destroy  remodel the yard. 

That's right, that's Steven in the trunk of our car dragging a wagon. We had a ton of dirt to move and decided to borrow without asking this wonderful wagon from Brian (Cadin's other grandpa). It made life so much easier, and people loved to see him hanging out the back driving down the street. Thank goodness he lives close by!

Cadin's Birthday & Cakes!

These are from Cadin's 2nd birthday and the Iron Man cake is from Rachel's 14th birthday! Again not much to say here, just a ton of pictures!

We've started doing family nights, or days, whatever works best for all of us, and they have been so much fun! We've headed out to the different nature parks and the elementary school by us, and just wandered! This post is mostly pictures like the last one, but it pretty much sums everything up! (Most, okay all except 1 are of Steven & Cadin, but I figure Cadin needs lots of pictures of his young years!) 

  

 

 

 

 

 

Dad's Birthday..

I really need to work on this updating thing, I always start and never finish due to the fact that I'm too lazy to walk down the hall and grab the cord for my phone so I can put pictures, and lets face it posts are boring with out pictures... here are some from dad's birthday!

I had so much fun making his cake, then we had to of course play pin the tail on the donkey, its a Seegmiller family birthday tradition at our house, we ALWAYS have to make someone way  dizzy!

Another Month

So its another month since our last post! Let's get to the quick Summers' Update!!

Sara got a new job working in a home daycare and she loves it! She works Tuesdays & Thursdays right now until tax season is over then she'll work Mon-Fri. It's perfect hours and it gets her out of the house and out with people, well children but still she's not alone anymore.

Skyler ended up losing his job April 2nd, a month earlier then we had originally expected but oh well! For everything that happens there is a reason behind it. We're looking for the reason right now. Keep your fingers crossed that we'll find something quickly.

Cadin is growing up so fast, he's talking more and more, its so nice to have a little one in our house. He keeps it lively. We'll have to post some pictures of him.

Sara had her birthday on Easter Sunday, it was nice to visit for a bit with both families. She got a sewing machine and can't wait to start sewing!

Skyler is getting  closer to the end of school they're estimating that he'll be done Dec 3rd. Exciting!

Weekend fun!

*** Warning! As you can prob. tell this post is very long!***

It's been a while since I've written on this blog, I have another personal one that I keep, and it seems to be getting ALL of my attention lately. This weekend was WONDERFUL for the most part at least. Skyler and I got to spend all day Saturday together! That almost never happens! Usually there is work or school work or stuff to do but not this time! I really need to work on taking more pictures because I always think to write in my blog and bam no pictures so I just don't post it.

Skyler and I started off our weekend with a workout! I have started working out again, to make sure that whenever we decide to have kids that I am healthy! After a nice workout we went to our favorite restaurant Lorenas! For our official first date Skyler and I went to Lorena's and he did this weird cube thing on me. I'll have to have him do it again so I can explain it. Then we went ice skating. Which I had never gone before and it was there he decided to hold my hand for the first time, and here we are now.

I love going to Lorena's, it brings back good memories of when I first met Skyler and how I felt and what not. I'm just so glad I tricked him into going on a second date or our first official one! Maybe I should write down our story, I'm not sure if anyone reads this but I can at least have it for myself.

It was November 30 2007, my family was just heading home from Disney Land and I of course was stuck at work. Well I was really nervous about going out that night to meet him.

 *** We actually met on myspace, well thanks to Yahoo Personals, yes I broke down and agreed to go on there after I hadn't met anyone for so long since living in Utah.Well we started talking in prob May or June and then stopped while he was in Germany and then a few texts here and tehre but we hadn't actually talked again till November when he texted me again.***

I was scared, I thought hmmm this might be an old man or something I don't kow if I should actually go. Well I made up a story that my brothers were in a car accident

 **which they were, but it was the day prior***

so I could just go home and sleep, well the whole time I just had this awful feeling, and it kept me from sleeping, and sure enough I decided to go. I met him in the Barnes and Noble parking lot, and the first thing I remember him saying is "you don't look like you do in your pictures" what in the heck was that supposed to mean? Well we wandered on in to the Star Bucks and got hot chocolate and went to see Awake. I got a phone call in the beg. of the movie and stepped out, later I found out he didn't think I was coming back. Well I felt like oh heck this date was awful, I'll never hear from him again, he's too good for me... blah blah blah. So I decided to  call or text him and thank him again for the date. Well after that we talked all the time and I eventually let enough hints that he took me out again. I <3 him.

We've seen each other EVERY day since our second date. Well atleast I'm almost 100 % sure it's been every day. I know we talk all day long, even now any chance he gets while at work he'll text me. Oh and tomorrow we'll have been married for 1 year and 7 months! It's getting closer to our 2 year!

Speaking of work, I'm almost done with my time here at Jackson Hewitt. And Skyler is still looking for a good job, hopefully we can get him PHP certified soon and maybe that'll help. For those of you that don't know, his work is currently doing  lay offs. 65 more people will go on May 1st, hopefully Skyler isn't one of them. He's a vacation relief so he is able to cover 9 jobs, possibly more, I lost count after 9. Neither him nor I feel nervous about this lay off but still it's something to pay attention to.

Well I'm sure this post is prob. long enough for now. I'll most likely come back and most on Wednesday when I work again. Take care!
