6 months.

Abigail on Sept 5 you turned 6 months old.
(blurry but oh well)

Weight:
Birth: 6 lbs 7 oz
6 months: 17 lbs 75%

Height:
Birth 20 in
6 months: 27 in 91%

And I don't have the numbers for your head measurements with me right now but I know you're head is in the 37% right now.

You've become really friendly with the puppies lately, we have to watch you because you love to abuse them. You pull their hair and giggle.

You went to a cabin for the first time.

You met your "Aunt" April when we went through the temple together.
This is that day.

You went to a Vicker's family reunion at the ghetto Cherry Hill.

You had a twinkie for the first time. well some filling.
You started to go camping with cousin Cadin, in Grandma's living room under his Thomas tent, which in this picture is sideways because that's how you take naps in the tent while camping.
You found the baby in the mirror and love her!
We had a mini photo shoot
Cousin Cadin helped you get dressed,
In this outfit, and you two became even closer.
You sit up amazingly well! You also make silly faces.

5 months.

Abigail, I can't believe you are 5 months already! (as of Aug 5th)
You've grown so much in this last month. You are around 15 maybe 16ish lbs. I haven't measured your height yet. Though I know you've grown. Your hair is growing in so full. I love it. We started doing a little fohawk with your hair.

You can't see it in this picture we took, but it's there behind the flower, and you love it! You love the water still, so very much.
You played in an exersaucer for the first time this month.
You loved it! You were so curious as to what everything did, at first we had to help you move around in it, but now you're doing it. You also will not sit down in it, you stand the whole time!
Daddy isn't good at taking non blurry pictures, but you worked on your first big project with me. We're redoing our kitchen cabinets and you're my little helper, you follow me around everywhere!

whoops, forgot to turn the pictures around! Anyway, you put yourself to sleep in your crib for a nap for the first time. Which got me to buy a monitor, and later caused me to put you in your crib to sleep. You do great! There are some nights when you just need mom and dad to sleep, and that's fine, but you usually sleep great alone. I'm so proud of you.
I've had to move you up in clothing size. You are now finally, wearing 3-6 month clothing. 3 and 0-3 still fit, but the pj's are too small in most 0-3. We bought you some adorable size 6 pjs from target! You love how your little feet hang out. You're always holding onto them!

You're also starting to bond with your dad. You snuggle up with him at night sometimes. He's even put you to sleep without having to nurse! It was amazing. You and daddy like to watch Blue's Clues and work on the computer together too!

Finally!

It's been such a long time since I've posted on here! I've mostly posted on my own personal blog, and then copied and pasted it onto this blog with a few changes here and there. Life is great here for the Summers. We're slowly redoing and reorganizing our house. We started with our closet this last weekend. Hopefully today we can get our study all clean! Abigail is growing so fast! I can't believe she's already past the 4 month mark! Keep checking back for new posts! I'm working on getting some scheduled right now so we can update you on our little family!

Moab Part 1

So this past Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, we vacationed in Moab, UT. It was a nice getaway. We filled my parent's suburban, -- my parents, 2 of my sisters, my nephew Cadin, and of course Skyler, Abigail & I. It was so much fun to take a trip as a family. It was Abigail's first trip.

Our first stop on Monday was at Dead Horse Point State Park

The Moby Wrap was amazing until she wanted her daddy!

We also went to Canyon Lands & because I can't hike very far with my hips and I carried baby we only got one picture on our short hike :)

3 month

Abigail, I can't believe you're 3 months!!

Weight: (as of 6/2) 12 lbs 12.5 oz
Height: I tried to measure you and I'm thinking it's around 23" but I could be way off.
Diapers: Size 1 fits but size 2 fits also, so we're slowly starting to transition to size 2!
Clothes: You fit in a few pairs of newborn pj's still! Oh my heck!  But you''re wearing 0-3 perfectly, some 3 and even a few 3-6 though they are pretty darn loose on you.

You had your first ear infection this month, your first doctors appointment (outside of wellness checks), you sat in the shopping cart for the first time

You went to Chuck E Cheese for the first time, and you're starting to pull yourself from laying down to sitting up, and even to standing! You're growing up way too fast for mommy

2 month

2 Month Check Up

Abigail at your 2 month check up:

You weigh 10 lbs 2.5 oz (43%)
You are 22.5" long (68%)
You smile at mom & grandma knowingly
You smile & laugh in your sleep all the time (some nights you keep mom up with your giggling)
You are starting to talk I love it. We talk to each other when you're awake.
You think it's time to sleep when I put you on your tummy.
You sleep through the night (you started this at 5 weeks exactly 4/16)
You still have the baby blue grey eyes.
You love to be out in the sun, though we've only had a few sunny days where we've been able to take you out for a few minutes.
You love to talk to your "friend" (the ceiling fan), whether he be in our living room, our bedroom or grandma's living room.
You slept in your bassinet 1 whole night, and 4 hours the night before, then you got shots so mom just kept you in bed with her.
Speaking of shots, you did wonderful, you were wide awake, and fussy because it was nap time and you needed a snack. So you turned bright red and cried but as soon as mom picked you up you stopped. You also were happy right after too, you slept a through your evening play time but you're moving your leg yourself and seem perfectly fine.
Oh and when you're mad you say "uh gee!" I love it. That's how I know you're not just doing your I need attention and some lovin' squawking.

Baby Blessing

My beautiful little girl was dressed in white today, well of course she had a pretty pink headband on.

Her great-grandmother, Liz, made her this dress out of the left over material from the wedding dress she made for me.

Her dad did an amazing job blessing her. She was so lucky to have her Great-Grandpa Seegmiller, Grandpa Brent, Grandpa Kirt, and Bishop Kimber to be in the circle.

Her grandma bought her this beautiful cocktail dress to wear to her luncheon after.

She enjoyed her party :)
