Conference Weekend

It's that time of year again, Conference Weekend. Twice a year the guys get together and do their Priesthood thing and us girls get to go out and party :) This time I was able to bring my beautiful little girl with me. We went to Marie Calendars and had a great time, though this was the first time she's felt the need to be apart of the dinner party .

These last 2 are my favorite, she had a few good minutes with her grandma while I hurried and ate my dinner :) Wish I would have gotten more pictures with her!

These next pictures I absolutely love!! My nephew loves his baby Abigail, and makes sure everyone knows that her name is baby Abigail. Thats right if you call her anything but Abigail he'll let you know you're wrong. He's so fascinated with everything about her.

3 Day Check-Up

We took Abigail to see Dr. O, on Tuesday for her 3 day check up. She was down to 6lbs 2.5 oz. He said everything looked great, and that we were to feed her whenever she wanted. He also let us know that we needed to come back between 10 & 14 days old to do her 2 week check up where they will do the PKU test part 2. Meaning they will stick her little heel and squeeze out blood to cover 7 circles on this piece of paper I have. Blah, I don't know how I'll be able to handle that, I mean shots are fine but drawing blood and squeezing her foot? Skyler said it's sad, he saw it the first time it was done and I guess her little lip quivers and she starts to scream. I hope it goes by fast and that I can get her to calm down fast after. I'm so glad Skyler gets to come with me. This was also her first outing since we got home from the hospital!

6 lbs 7 oz 19.5 in long!

 Born March 5th 12:35 am!

And already has such a wonderful personality!

Yesterday I stayed busy, Skyler & I rearranged our living room, went shopping for new furniture and just cleaned. It was able to get some contractions going last night, and even a few so far today, I'm hoping once my lazy butt gets up and starts getting ready for the day and goes out shopping again that they'll pick up. I can't wait to see my little girl. To put bows on her head, put her in cute little dresses and adorable outfits. To have her blessed, and sealed to our family.To be able to kiss and hold her little hands and feet :) I can't wait. Every day I feel more prepared for her, every day she's putting on more weight and she's protected inside, getting stronger.

2 1/2 years!!

I can't believe it's been 2 1/2 years since I married this amazing man!!

We've had an AMAZING two and a half years.And I'm so glad that this spring we will be sealed in the temple and we'll be able to spend forever together. 

February Already?

I can't believe it's February. Time has gone too fast! It was just yesterday that Skyler and I got married I'm sure of it. As I was laying in bed staring at the wall, I let my brain wander. I realized that we have this little countdown for the next  8 days. That's right ONLY 8 days! 

8 days - till I can officially be off bed rest. 

7 days - till I will stop taking my Terbutaline 

(This tries to but does not stop the contractions) 

6 days - till my ward/neighborhood baby shower. 

5 days - till Skyler & I have been married for 2 1/2 years. 

4 days - till my 6 week mark of holding the little miss in.

3 days - till my next Dr's appointment

2 days - till Skyler gets made an Elder

1 day - till date night! 

It's absolutely crazy to think that our little girl will be here anytime now, (hopefully not till the 19th but it becomes a great possibility that she will be here, each day) and next weekend we could most definitely be parents. I should have pictures up of the nursery soon. Bed rest has put off a lot  ALL of my decorating. Hopefully within the next week I'll be able to get back on track and have some more stuff done before she gets here.
